Written in memory of my dear friend Scott Dodson and premiered at the 2023 Metro Instrumental Director’s Conference, this uplifting song from Phil Wickham invites us to contemplate the beauty and glory of Heaven, reminding us of the hope and victory we have in Christ. The arrangement moves from a cinematic opening with a lyrical trumpet solo that could be played offstage, to flute solo with percussion groove, and finally to a triumphant third verse and chorus. “But as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.'” – 1 Corinthians 2:9
